Aspesi showroom – Salone del Mobile 2022

On the occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2022, the milanese ASPESI showroom in Corso Venezia 14, becomes a meditative space curated by Gianluigi Ricuperati and set up with a selection of the Post it that make up the famous Hans Ulrich Obrist collection, art curator, critic and historian of art.

The unusual setting designed by Patricia Urquiola will transform the showroom into a space for meditation and thought enhanced by the new glass containers "Doble", the coffee tables “Shimmer” - both designed by Patricia Urquiola for Glas Italia and by the carpets by cc-tapis.

Scattered on the Glas Italia tables, visitors will find collectible booklets dedicated to the project and the collection of Post it by Obrist, which can be read, observed, and finally taken home after the tour in the Showroom.

Hand written Stories #2 - The Capri Letter

A presentation of Patricia Urquiola’s design curated by Gianluigi Recuperati / Nova Express, powered by #Aspesi.

The special project “Hand Written Stories - The Capri Letter’’, works as a sort of unwritten correspondence between Hans Ulrich Obrist, and Patricia Urquiola, curated by Gianluigi Ricuperati. 

An homage to the great literary novel by Mario Soldati, ‘Letters from Capri’, presented at Nomad Capri - international exhibition of collectible art and design - as a spin off of a recent exhibition held in Milan during Design Week 2022, powered by Aspesi and focused on Hans-Ulrich Obrist’s celebrated archive of handwritten notes.

The chosen spaces inside the San Giacomo di Certosa Monastery become a meditative environment, set-up with the tables Simoon and carpets by cc-tapis,  both designed by Patricia Urquiola and with the Andromeda mirrors designed by Nanda Vigo and re-edited this year by Glas Italia.
