Supersalone Milano this year is an opportunity for Glas Italia to introduce to both the professional and design enthusiast audience the most recent developments of its research, innovation and creative process in glass manufacturing, characterizing the Company for almost 50 years.

Under the spot light, presented as a preview, the SHERAZADE WALL partition wall system, an important element, expanding the interior doors and wall partitions program curated by Piero Lissoni.

Alongside, with some iconic pieces to complete the exhibition space, the latest introductions in the furniture range: the SIMOON coffee table collection designed by Patricia Urquiola, once again exploring a new and unprecedented potential use of glass material and LAZY HUB, the latest evolution of the elegant Hub high table designed by Piero Lissoni.

"Nanda Vigo. Close Encounters. Art, Architecture, Design"

The exhibition dedicated to Nanda Vigo, Milanese architect, artist and designer tied to Glas Italia through a long and fruitful collaboration, opens on September 4th in the spaces of the Fondazione Sozzani.

On this occasion, Glas Italia has re-edited  imagined the "Andromeda" table and mirrors, the first collection designed in 1972 by Nanda Vigo for the Company, and also produced the special glass panels for the installation.

Several historic al pieces by Glas Italia are also exhibited, evidence of the profound research carried out with the Milanese artist, curated and preserved and collected with thanks to the precious valuable work done by the Nanda Vigo Archive.

“The Library of Ever” - by Gianluigi Ricuperati

A books sculpture devoted to Hans Ulrich Obrist bibliography

The shop window of the Aspesi flagship store in Milan is being transformed into a living space designed by Patricia Urquiola and curated by Gianluigi Ricuperati with some of the most beautiful and rare titles among the more than 250 ones constituting Hans Ulrich Obrist's bibliography.

On show will be a series of prototypes of the new collection that Patricia Urquiola is developing with Glas Italia.
